generation of 5234.57 million units during the FY 2009-10 and
a revenue earnings of Rs.1134.73 Crore

SJVN is a Central Public Sector Undertaking and has
raised no funds from the open market. The listing on the
stock exchange has not been so far there, as per the
decision of the GOI.
The company is making profits and paying dividends to
the share holders. It has the capacity to fund the
equity portion of the projects from its internal
resources to a considerable extent. The company has
developed a good rapport with its creditors with the
faultless repayment of loans and as such its
creditworthiness has increased over the period of time
after the first venture of the company, the Nathpa
Jhakri HPS came into operation.
